1 year and 1 month ago my Lulu passed away. We brought him to VEG because he wasn’t eating or walking and he had no desire to get up off his bed. Months prior he was vomiting everything he ate. He had become very thin and had lost about half his body weight. My experience at VEG was great. The vets and vet staff were very helpful, friendly and most importantly compassionate. The vets and nurses informed me about Lulu’s condition and what I could do for him. Seeing that his condition was deteriorating, I chose the difficult option of euthanasia. Thankfully the vet walked me through the process of what it would be like for Lulu. Before Lulu was euthanized, the vet gave me as much time as I needed to stay by Lulu’s side before saying goodbye. I was given the option of a private cremation and received his ashes on time and with a beautiful memorial for Lulu. Thanks to VEG for getting me through that tough decision. I miss Lulu everyday.

I can't say enough about this facility. I am used to a very busy New York emergency room but this is not that. Its busy but you get the feeling that you're being fully attended to unlike the bigger emergency hospitals. The staff could not be nicer, more attentive and considerate. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses to the vet techs and of course the veterinarians were all amazing.I was even allowed to stay over night to watch my cat while they treated him They kept me very informed about what they were doing for him and I was able to watch some of the procedures being done. This allowed me to feel that he was getting the best care he could and it was under my watchful eye. it felt good to be able to stay with him and know that he was being cared for properly. They gave me good discharge directions, made sure I understood them and gave me a referral for next steps. Thank you again VEG I wish all Animal Care facilities were like yours. If I could give you more than five stars I would because you deserve it!!😽😸😻

I was so impressed with this Emergency Vet! Worlds better than blue pearl for sure. I went in an anxious mess, still in my slippers because I was hardly awake, with my French bulldog that was having weird problems. Dr Casey is the most patient human on earth, I must've asked him 5000 questions and he never made me feel stupid or annoying like how I've been treated before. Everybody there is super warm from the receptionists to the ppl working in the hospital side. I watched as many other animals were treated with care and love (especially the ones who had been admitted and their owners weren't there, nearly cried watching a Dr petting a cat with an e collar). You could tell that everybody here really loves animals. They even have a really cute golden doggy assistant. We were seen right away, I was given an estimate before anything was done, and the exam, bloodwork, and two kinds of medication came to 500 bucks which really is not bad in the world of Emergency Vets. 3 years ago today I dropped 1500 at blue pearl and was treated like an idiot for insisting that my dogs seizures weren't epilepsy but brain tumors (yes it was tumors, RIP Fancy) When you call them you get to speak to a doctor or nurse who will evaluate if you actually need to go in. The nurse I spoke to was awesome and assured me that my dog was not on deaths door but my anxiety from losing my last dog this time three years ago made me go in anyway. I'm so glad I did. Also this place is clean and really beautiful. They have a water and coffee station, the seating is cozy, and they even gave my dog a blanket and a bed to hang out on I can't say enough about this place, thank you so much for taking care of Blanche (and my anxiety). She finally ate like a vacuum cleaner and is feeling much better tonight.
