I can’t say enough good about this place. From my first call when they put a vet directly on the phone for me to speak with about my dog’s issue to the time we walked into the facility with 3 staff members waiting (the same vet and 2 techs) who instantly greeted us, VEG is revolutionary in their format. ER visits are always stressful but by allowing you to stay with your pet the entire time and then treating them wherever they’re comfortable, it vastly reduces the stress from both the human and animal. Not only that, they offered snacks and beverages during our visit as my dog laid next to me on the comfy cushioned bench. They even brought him a blanket. If you have a medical emergency with your pet, I highly recommend VEG. Price wise, they were in line with other ERs. I wish all vet care followed this model. It truly took what is for many a horrible experience and turned it into a fantastic one (all things considered).

We worked with 3 vets and all were kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. They met me where I was at and made sure all my questions were answered. The techs were also very great. My dog was very comfortable with them, and I could tell he was in good hands and they all take pride in their work! I really like the "open-concept", giving you the option to stay with your pet during exam/treatment, if you want. They also have private visiting rooms, so I was able to spend the night with my dog, as well as come back the next day and catch a nap with him before taking him home. :) Admitting your pet is very scary, but being able to spend this time together definitely helps! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were both comfortable. Big thanks to VEG for all you do!

I brought my dog here after he was attacked by another dog. Dr. Elsinger and everyone else on staff we interacted with were caring, kept me informed at each step along the way, and took great care of my dog. I really appreciated being able to stay alongside my dog through the entire process. Despite the circumstances, easily the best vet care experience we have had.
