Dr. Danielle Debrincat

Medical Director

Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine

After completing her Rotating Small Animal Internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists, Dr. Debrincat worked at a specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in Westchester, NY. This is where she first learned about VEG. After several years, Dr. Debrincat made the switch to VEG in March 2020 and says, “I could not be happier!” Keeping people and their pets together and having the opportunity to help them through some of their most difficult moments is why she is proud to work at VEG. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, camping, and hiking with her dog, Wrigley.

When my dear senior kitty Sophie died recently I was so distraught I couldn't even think straight. My vet's emergency line rolled over to VEG. Alisa was so warm and caring on the phone, and I was able to get seen immediately to handle her cremation. Everyone was very understanding and helpful during my most painful time. I even received a touching sympathy card with notes from the staff. I really can't say enough about how grateful I am for VEG and the compassion they showed me.

Huge heartfelt thank you to Dr Bronsther and the team that was working on the morning of 4/12/2025. After going to a different urgent pet clinic and getting terrible bedside mannor and a doctor that hardly even touched my dog, we went to VEG Lakewood and the patient care was unmatched. They talked to my dog to soothe him while running tests, they let me be right next to him the entire time and made sure I had all the information necessary to care for him. He ended up having pneumonia and needed a few hours of hospitalization but is now home and on the road to recovery. I can't thank the whole VEG team enough for their dedication to figuring out what was wrong with my fur baby but also ensuring I had accurate real-time information and could make the best decisions about his care without costing an arm and a leg up front. I can't recommend this location enough for any and all pet emergencies.

Had to bring our pupper in. We noticed she wasn't up to her normal sassy self. Upon arrival she was immediately looked at and they kept petting her and loving on her. They had me holding her and being in her sight for all the procedures they ran. They brought her a comfy place to sit while we waited (which wasn't long). The open concept of the place is amazing. It's weirdly comforting knowing what's being talked about for your animal instantly. Dr. Pierce (JP) and Nurse Liberty were amazing.
