If you want KIND, CARING, COMPASSIONATE, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, SKILLED treatment for your sick or injured animal, then VEG is the place to bring them. From reception to the doctor, this was what we experienced when we brought our dog, Zooey, in for treatment. We were allowed into the treatment room so Zooey wouldn’t be surrounded by strangers as they worked on her. She was much more relaxed having her mom and dad with her when she wasn’t feeling well. I highly recommend Veterinary Emergency Group to anyone who cares about their pets and wants the best possible treatment for them.

My husband and I took my 13-year-old dog (Pomeranian), Mya, early in the morning on Sunday. As I walked in, they directed me to the doctor immediately. I realized that they were performing a sonogram and providing oxygen because she was having trouble breathing and had a purple tongue. Mya developed a heart murmur and congestive heart failure. They gave her the proper shots to help stabilize her. I was allowed to stay as long as I would like, day or night. It is impressive how thorough, friendly, and compassionate the staff are. Mya stayed overnight and was thankfully released the following day. They carefully explained her care and the meds I needed to continue. I would recommend this ER for pets.

I cannot stress enough how lucky we are to have VEG here. We had Dr. Calhoon help us and he was just wonderful. I believe also Toni helped us as well who got Minnie all comfortable. From walking into VEG to the checkout process I didn’t feel overwhelmed even though my dog Minnie was just not acting right. Every employee at VEG was so helpful I cannot stress how thankful I am that they are here for us. Minnie is doing better and I’m so thankful she is my best friend! Thank you VEG and all of your associates!
