We recently (3/16/25) had to make the difficult decision of letting our sweet, elderly dog Linus cross the rainbow bridge after a late night emergency visit. While no one wants to go to an emergency vet, I cannot recommend VEG enough for those who need to. Everyone who helped us that day deserves to know how wonderful they are and how even on the hardest day of our lives, still provided us with so much compassion and comfort that helped us let our little guy go peacefully and pain free. He was our one and only dog, who we had for 15 years. He gave us the gift of pure love, and you all gave us the support we needed to help us say goodbye when we all feared we wouldn’t have the strength to. Unfortunately, I do not remember everyone’s name, but Charles was amazing - he checked in with us many times to make sure we were okay, offered us drinks, brought comfortable seating for our family, and he really made us feel cared for. The nurses kept things light and positive to help us feel calm, even if they knew his outcome didn’t look great. They allowed us to comfort our dog and they were very attentive even though it was a very busy night. Our vet was amazing. She kept us very informed throughout our visit, and when she did have to tell us that it may be time to let him go, she delivered the news in a clear but compassionate way that helped us trust that it was the right thing to do. Thank you all for what you do on a daily basis, and what you did for our beloved dog and family that night. Your work is important and very hard, but I hope you all get the support and recognition you deserve so angels like you can stay in this line of work! Thank you and be well ❤️

We had to bring our puppy, Goose, to VEG for an emergency visit, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care he received. From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered every single question we had. Dr. E was especially amazing!! She was genuinely excited to see Goose and went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of. You can tell that everyone here truly loves animals and wants nothing but the best for them. It’s never fun dealing with a pet emergency, but knowing that Goose was in such great hands made all the difference. Thank you to the entire team for your compassion and expertise! As you can see, Goose wasn’t stressed the entire time we were there. 2nd picture is the toy he received from their grand opening a couple weeks ago.

HONEST REVIEW (no, there is no incentive to leave a 5 star review I hate when companies do that lol) CONS: there are not more vet groups like this. Seriously. PROS: first thing I noticed was how kind ALL of the staff was: to my pet, to my husband and I, and to each other also. I'm amazed that we interacted with about 7 different people and all knew my cats name and all were so respectful and professional and caring. This place pays attention to alllllll the details.... they had lots of dogs there so they put us into a room. One of the staff noticed my cat nervously eyeing a dog through the window so she closed the blinds. They even dimmed the lights to make my cat feel more "hidden" since she was nervous. They thought of details for us pet parents too, with a nice snack bar/ water/ coffee/ sodas. I used the restroom and noticed things like chapstick, toothbrushes & toothpaste etc in case you spend long hours there. The couch in the room had USB outlets to charge our phones. My family has had a very traumatic experience with a vet ER in the past, so I was already crying on arrival, and somehow felt better the longer we stayed even before we had answers. They immediately check your pet on arrival to make sure they're stable so they can triage the severity of each case. This also meant i had reassurance within minutes that my cat was okay for now. I don't have much experience with costs of care, but it felt like it was reasonable given the tests and treatments that were administered in addition to the very thoughtful care we were given. I work in the medical field and know jobs like this can be very stressful, but the staff were all very cool-headed and calm. The vet came back in to check on our cat right after leaving another pet's surgery (she still had the surgical cap and shoe covers on) and you wouldn't have even known; if she was frazzled or stressed she sure did a good job hiding it to help keep us and my cat calm. Thank you VEG, I will be recommending you to friends and family. 💝
